Nebraska Man Injured in Accident near Hospers

A NEBRASKA MAN WAS INJURED IN A ROLLOVER ACCIDENT ON HIGHWAY 60 ABOUT ONE MILE NORTH OF HOSPERS SATURDAY. THE SIOUX COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE REPORTS THAT 35 YEAR OLD SHUEIB HIRE OF LEXINGTON, NEBRASKA WAS NORTHBOUND WHEN HE LOST CONTROL OF THE VEHICLE WHICH WENT INTO THE MEDIAN AND ROLLED.

HIRE WAS TAKEN TO THE ORANGE CITY HOSPITAL FOR TREATMENT OF HIS INJURIES. HE WAS CITED FOR FAILURE TO MAINTAIN CONTROL. THERE WAS APPROXIMATELY 5-THOUSAND-DOLLARS IN DAMAGE TO THE VEHICLE. THE SHERIFF’S OFFICE WAS ASSISTED BY THE HOSPERS FIRE DEPARTMENT AND HOSPERS AMBULANCE.
